The 2007 GTOAA International Convention was terrific. The
hotel may have changed ownership and been undergoing renovations,
but that didn't change the spirit of the event. We enjoyed great
cars, great speakers and most important of all great people. As you
browse through this photo gallery look at the faces of the people.
These are people having a great time. I look forward to this event
each year and look forward to seeing my old friends and making new
friends at the 2008 GTOAA International Convention in Saratoga

The first ever GTOAA Autocross was a great event for everyone who attended. Watching was almost as much fun as driving -- almost. Lance Hudnell put in a tremendous amount of effort to get this organized. Working with the SCCA they did a great job. The event included a Tech Inspection for the vehicles, Driver Safety Meeting, Course Walk-Through, Ride Along Driver Coaching upon Request, and lots of driving excitement. We had Goats of all ages from 1966 to 2006. Todd had the fastest time of the day in his #40 2005 GTO. Rich and Eric from Backstreet Performance and Pedders USA, LLC sponsored this event. We enjoyed it so much we plan to sponsor the event next year in Saratoga Springs. The best times were the fun of the event. We had husband and wife with dueling GTOs (she won). We had first timers and old timers. This is a low speed event that is not hard on your car. Anyone who has a drivers license and a solid car can participate. You will learn a lot about the limitations of your car and your limitations as a driver. You'll leave a better driver. You'll also meet some wonderful people. Look at the faces of the people watching other drivers. This is a great event and we hop to see you at the 2008 Autocross in Saratoga Springs! |

| Pedders USA did run their wide-body at this event. It is of course fully Pedderised including the new double ball-joint E9433L/R coilovers and eXtreme sway bars. Pete did provide a few ride-alongs to the SCCA staff and GTO owners. They all said the same thing,"That is a lot of car." They can tell you more about the ride than the pictures. Or you could ask Todd about his #40 GTO that ran the best time of the day. His GTO is fully Pedderised too. Come to think of it, most of the GTOs at the autocross had a Pedders bit or more installed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
