The hard edge sheet-metal gives your Sky attitude. In stock trim is handles and drives well. Moving up to the Red Line provides addition RWHP and improved handling. The OEM engineers that developed the red line were handicapped by budget restrictions and regulations. It cost a small fortune to do the crash testing required when a vehicle is lowered by the factory. As the owner of this special vehicle you are not restricted by the same regulations or costs. As an enthusiast you already know that a lowered vehicle no longer has 5 MPH bumpers and that a small bumper bender will be a much bigger bill lowered. It is why you parked 5 miles away from the store entrance at an angle!

It may have been a cold March day when we did our final pre-production test driving, but the top was down and the loud pedal to the floor. The performance was nothing short of staggering. The Sky was glued to the road. No matter how hard we pushed, the Sky would respond with stability and predictability. The owner of this very low mile Sky was kind enough to allow us to fits several sets of Xa coilovers while we sorted out the final details. Driving this Sky has been one of the highlights of our Xa eXtreme Coilover Program. If you own a Sky you owe it to yourself to unlock the potential of this incredibly competent chassis. We did not have the opportunity to skid pad this Sky. We did skid pad a G8 and HHR at the New Jersey Motorsports Park.
The Sky can out handle both the HHR and G8. How do we know? Pete Basica our President has both the G8 and HHR in his personal garage. We won't be surprised to find a Sky in there because he can't stop talking about how great the test drive was.
