To support the Red Line Ion enthusiast Pedders has developed a variation of the Cobalt / HHR Xa eXtreme Coilover system. The front is a true coilover and the rear has an adjustable spring perch with an adjustable length shock absorber. All four dampers have 30 bound and rebound damping adjustments. Height is adjusted through by screwing the entire monotube down into the mounting bracket or up out of the bracket. This maintains full suspension travel. Set to full soft the ride is OE like. Set to full hard your Red Line is ready for R compound tires and a day at the track. This same system has been fit to the HHR in this video. The HHR SS is running on OEM wheels and Bridgestone tires. It is completely stock with the exception of Pedders Xa eXtreme coilovers.
